Now for my answers to her questions-

1.Tell us three things about the place and country where you live now.

I have been living in India from the time I was born. This is a country known for its unity in diversity. It is a beautiful place with a large number of tourist spots. Each and every state in this country has its own staple food, clothing and festivals and is a delight for anyone who has a love for shopping!

2.Can you name a teacher you remember for their influence or words of wisdom?

It is extremely difficult to pick one of them but if I had to pick, I think i would choose Preetha Maám, my math teacher in 10th grade. We had a great relationship, much more than a standard teacher-student kind of relation. She was like a friend, always ready to help me with anything I needed.

3.Have you been to a school reunion, if so were you glad you went?

I graduated from school only last year!! But I have attended the reunion, the one that happened this year! And I am extremely glad I went! So much to talk about and so many pictures we clicked!!

4.If money or rarity were not problems, what would you like for your next birthday present?

Hmm, let me think. A vacation to Gujarat and Italy!! Where I am allowed to shop to my heart’s content!

5.If you were stranded on a desert island with nothing and let’s face it, if you were shipwrecked you are not likely to have your favourite books etc. Would you rather have any person with you or be alone?

I would surely want a person with me, there’s no way I would survive alone! Most probably my 2 best friends!

6.If you were offered a part as an extra in a film, what would you like to be?

A  journalist or detective in a horror film!

7.If reincarnation is true, who or what would you be next time?

I would want to be ME!! The same ME!

8. What is your favourite mode of transport?

Walking and the metro train.

9.City, suburbs or rural retreat?

City!! With lots of new people to meet and loads of exciting place to visit!

10.What is your idea of a dream night out?

Music, good food, friends, camera!

  1. thank you! i had a query…i have linked all the nominee’s blogs, will they get to know or should i send each of them a personal message?

  2. Congratulations, Sneha! And thank you so much for nominating me. I am humbled, where there is a much better writer than me, my friend Mario Savioni. It is a pity he still has not been nominated. Mario writes so beautifully! I strongly recommend you and all your followers his novel “Pickles and Tarts” (very short chapters, easy to read). It is a story where 54-year-old Frank has been selected by 19-year-old Nicole through a dating site. Frank looks at Nicole’s photos on the site and is attracted to her beauty. Nicole tells him she has a boyfriend and is not interested in a romantic relationship. She adds: “It’s fun to talk to different people sometimes.” It is a lovely story of illusion-delusion, dream-reality, non-conformist with the Capitalist system, reflective on love, sex and human relationships in today’s world. It is profound and highly intriguing:

  3. I am sorry, Sneha. I would not know what to answer. Besides I have little time for this. I think I prefer to just keep following your lovely blog. Yes, please, check out Mario’s blog! You have no idea of how important this is to me and to Mario as well.

  4. Appreciate the nomination and great to read more about you … as I don’t do awards I will answer a few questions here 🙂

    6. my fav quote …. all our experiences in life, good and bad, shape but don’t define us.
    7. I live completely off grid and believe we should all lessen our carbon footprint!
I live on a quiet bush block in a lovely rural area
    I have everything I need here 🙂
    8. right where I am now … who needs a holiday when they live in paradise ❤
